Music Video Analysis; Kanye West - "Stronger"

"Stronger" is the third number one single by Kanye West and has received many prestigious awards such as the MTV Video Music Award for the best video and editing, won BET Hip Hop awards and as well as a Grammy Award for Best Solo Performance. 

The video includes a wide use of animation with intense light effects to give a futurestic atmosphere where Kanye West gives his performance. The video pays homage to an electronic music duo "Daft Punk" who were famous in the late 90s for producing electro/dance music (a growing favourable genre). With a blend of Hip Hop and Electro Pop, "Stronger" proved to be a successful single from "Graduation"; Kanye Wests 2007 album.

Music Video Analysis - Eminem - "Without Me"

This video released in 2002 was one of the best singles ever to be released by Marshall Mathers, also famously known as Eminem. The video narrates a story of protagonist, Eminem, trying to save a child from seeing explicit content on a CD that was transacted by an irresponsible sales clerk at a music store. Nearly every scene involves some kind of comical action, it removes all intensive mood, as a result causes the viewer to be more relaxed and which therefore releases their humorous side.

The mise en scene of the various clothing used in the video humorously shows the parody that implies towards superheroes, although it can be argued as being a negative homage. A mischievous ad hypocritical Eminem that wants to do good, but manages to do the opposite gives the audience an hysterical and humurous appeal to the music video.A humorous representation of Eminem showing a less serious and less aggressive side to the  to choose the positive funny side of the music video or the negative parody of superheroes.
